We already have our florist, will you style our venue for us?
Unfortunately we only offer our venue styling service for customers purchasing wedding flowers from us.You can still hire any of our props or linens from us on a DIY basis.
We like what you have to offer, what shall I do next?
Contact us to arrange a consultation, weekends tend to book up fast so please contact us early.. Monday and Tuesday evening slots are also available if you struggle to get in during the week. There is usually a 4 week waiting list for evening and weekend appointments so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Do you charge for consultations?
For our full wedding flower and venue styling service, consultations are free of charge. DIY prop hire consultations have a fee of £20, this is due to us only having limited appointment availabilty and we have to reserve these appointments for our wedding flower customers. We are happy to send images and specifications via email free of charge. Our products are also available to view at wedding shows throughout the year and will be happy to bring along samples to show you.
What happens in the consultation, do I need anything?
Bring as much or as little as you feel is relevant. Although a general idea/ list of what and how many of each thing you will need is a good starting point. Knowing your budget is a must.
Why do we ask for your maximum spend?
Knowing your maximum spend allows to offer the best products and services for your price range.
We can spend tens, hundreds or thousands on your flowers. so knowing a ball park figure allows us to be efficient and offer the best advice on how and where to spend your money.
This way you and your guests get maximum impact without being wasteful.
Do you have a minimum spend?
We have a minimum spend of £1000 for all floral and full set up/venue styling weddings. This is to ensure we are able to deliver a high standard of work throughout and not spread your budget too thinly.
If your budget is a little more modest we may be able to accommodate smaller floral orders and prop hire on a collection/return basis. Please ask us for more details of you think you may require this service.
If we want to book what deposit do you require?
We take a 25% deposit to secure your date.
We want to book but we don’t know what we want yet?
The deposit books us to work on your wedding, at your venue, on your chosen date. exact numbers are not crucial at this point, we update your order form when the final invoice is due 4 weeks prior to your wedding. We only ask that you do not reduce your total order by more than 5% of the original total booking amount.
How soon after receiving my quote do I need to book?
That depends on you! Some people book at the initial consultation, others choose to take their quote away. No booking is secure without payment of a deposit. All bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis. We only take on a certain amount of weddings per year to give us plenty of time to focus on each booking. Once we reach that number we will close the books. So it is always better to book early to avoid disappointment.
I don’t get paid until the end of the month, can you hold the date for me?
Unfortunately to be fair to everyone we cannot hold a date without a deposit.
How quickly do you get booked?
We take take bookings up to two years in advance.
Key dates start to book straight away, with most dates expected to be gone one year before, 18 months is the average time before people start to enquire.
I haven’t chosen my colour scheme, can I still book a consultation?
Yes, we can still provide an estimate based on your wedding date, style, size of arrangement and the flower types, colours can be confirmed at a later stage.
If we book, what happens next?
In some cases we may need to do a venue visit. This will be explained in the initial consultation, if a venue visit is not required we will have a final consultation a few months before your wedding. We will contact you to arrange this. However in between consultations we are always available by phone and email.
What happens if I change my mind about something I’ve ordered?
Don’t worry it happens. Just drop us an email and let us know, we will see what we can do to help. For hire items we will need to know asap so if you need any replacements we can make sure we have your item in stock. For fresh flowers if you are removing items we may need to re-quote. Everything is explained in the terms and conditions that we give you with your quote. We just ask that you do not reduce your order by more than 5% of the original order total. If you need to knock items off we will relocate the spend to other items or distribute the costs amongst the other arrangements. If you are unsure at the time of booking if you will require any items, please let us know and we will keep the item off the order form for you to add in at a later date.
Will you provide a bouquet sample?
Yes, we can make a sample at your request, season permitting. The cost will be the price of the bouquet in full.
Can I keep my flowers after the wedding?
Yes, they are yours to keep, we will collect our containers and leave the flowers at the venue.
I want to make my own centrepieces, will you provide the flowers?
Although we always encourage creativity we need the time to focus on making our own arrangements perfect so this is not a service we offer.
